These are just a few of our members that we wanted to highlight. Get to know more about what they do, and why they got started in local government!

Kelly is an active member of AMANS, she is the chair of the Records Committee, the Pictou County Regional Representative on the 2016-2017 AMANS Board of Directors, and is the Executive Assistant in New Glasgow. Due to Kelly's active involvement in AMANS, we wanted to ask Kelly, what the AMA does for her.

Marie is the 2016-2017 AMANS President. She is actively involved in many working groups with the Association and is the Director of Finance for Cape Breton Regional Municipality. As the AMANS president, and a person who has been actively involved in municipal government for years, we wanted to ask Marie, why youth should consider Local Government as a career choice.

Mike is currently the Valley Regional Representative on the AMA Board of Directors and the Director of Finance for the Town of Wolfville. We wanted to encourage others to explore local government as a career, so we asked Mike why he got started in Local Government.

Louis is a past AMA President, and is currently the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Windsor. He is also the recent recipient of the Lieutenant Governor's Medal for Excellence in Public Administration. Due to Louis' recent award, we wanted to ask him, what excellence in public administration meant to him.
